Before You Take the Shot
Two doors. One question.
What's your plan for when you stop?
Everybody's reaching for the shot. I never did. I went from an A1C of 11.7 to 5.5 without it.
I'm not a doctor, and I'm not here to talk you out of anything. I was never offered the shot, and I never took one. Two pills and insulin, down to zero. The way out had no needle in it. I just want you to see both doors before you pick one.

What's Not in the Commercial
The shot works. Until you stop.
Nobody's arguing the shot works while you're on it. But ask the question the commercial never does. What happens when you stop? Open each door and see the fine print they read real fast.
The Shot
Stop the shot, and about two-thirds of the weight comes back within a year.
What I Did
Mine has stayed gone for three and a half years.
The Shot
In the biggest trials, about a quarter of what people lost was muscle, not fat. Some studies put it as high as 40 percent. Muscle is the sponge that pulls sugar out of your blood. You need it.
What I Did
I kept my muscle. Fifty plus pounds off, the slow way.
The Shot
A bill every single month, out of pocket, for as long as you want it. It's a subscription to your own body.
What it runs: about $300 a month for a starter dose, up to more than $1,300 at full list price, depending on the drug and your insurance. Prices as of June 2026.
What I Did
A kitchen and a walk. Nothing to keep paying once you learn it.
The Shot
Most people who take it for weight loss are off it inside a year anyway. And it's built to be taken forever. You rent the result. You never own it.
What I Did
No prescription. No refills. No needle. Nothing anybody can cancel.
That's all four. Now the other door.
Open door twoNone of that makes the shot evil. The shot works while you're on it. It just made me ask a different question. Not how do I manage this for life, but how do I actually get free of it. That's the other door.
The shot is a real tool, and for heart risk it has real proof behind it. This is the fine print, not a takedown.

I Brought Receipts
11.7 to 5.5. No injection in it.
- For years I took the medication exactly like I was supposed to and changed nothing else, and the number still climbed. By the summer of 2022 it hit 11.7. That was the floor.
- When I finally said enough, I was on all three at once. Metformin. Glipizide. Insulin. I came off of them. That was my own decision, made out of desperation, and I am not telling you to do the same. Talk to your doctor, and never change your medications on your own.
- The first day I changed things, my blood sugar dropped over a hundred points. No pill. No shot. That line did not start falling because of a prescription. It fell because of what I ate, when I ate, and how I moved.
- March 2026. A1C 5.5. Zero medication. Three and a half years and counting.
- This ain't a sales pitch. These are lab results.

Door Two Starts Here
Door two is the kitchen.
I didn't do it with Ozempic, Mounjaro, or any of the ones they sing and dance about. I did it with three things you already have.
Food is where most people get stuck. Want to see exactly how I did it, food and all? The whole story of how I went from 11.7 to 5.5, drug-free, one email at a time.

The Whole Road
The emails are the story. The book is the whole map.
The exact food, the fasting, the movement, how the three work together, what to do when you stall, and what to do when you slip. That's the whole road, and it's all in the book.
It's called Type 2 Ain't My Type. My true story. The hospital, the 450 reading, the day it turned, and every single step after. There's not one lie in it.
If you're going to bet on yourself instead of a forever shot, this is the map you do it with.
